Guided Walk in Wamboin Crown Reserve
The Friends of Wamboin Crown Reserve are pleased to invite you to our next walk on Sunday, 8 March! Come along and enjoy the sights and sounds of Wamboin’s very own Reserve.
We’ll meet at 8:45 am at the Wamboin Community Centre, 112 Bingley Way, and then we’ll carpool to the Wamboin Crown Reserve. The walk is about 5.5 km and will take us through most of the main trails, except for the steep Poppet Hill trails. It’s a fun and safe way to explore the reserve for the first time!
Just a heads-up, the trails can be a bit steep and rocky in some spots with exposed roots. It’s best if you’re in good shape to handle the walk comfortably.
The walk should take about three hours, and if you’re up for it, there’s an extra loop for those fast walkers who want to go a bit further. To make sure you’re comfortable, wear long trousers and good shoes, and don’t forget to bring water and some snacks.
The adventure starts on Sunday, 8 March at the Wamboin Community Centre. See you there!
If you would like to come along please click here to register (it's free) and for more information.
